don't need to do more than load images on reload, which this does. only need to fix star icons for images not loading and we are good for load/save

serialization works. picture rating icons (stars) dont show until clicked though, and rating info is not saving

srolling works with the java grid layout set to 1 column, but with the flow layout, content just gets cut off, there is no scroll bar
